Whether its stocking up on the necessary ingredients to whip up their dishes or hitting the gym to create some spare room for delectable meals, both Boston chefs and residents are preparing for the city's upcoming Summer Restaurant Week in August. This event provides Boston hospitality professionals with the chance to showcase their skills, and it gives individuals the opportunity to try some delicious food and creations from some of Boston's best restaurants.
According to the Boston Restaurant Week website, more than 200 local establishments will participate in the event, which takes place from August 18 to 23. These restaurants are located in neighborhoods throughout the Hub and they serve a variety of dishes and specialties. There are prix fixe menus for people who want to visit and dine with the various restaurants. For a 2-course lunch, the cost is $15.13 per person. A 3-course option is available for $20.13, while a 3-course dinner is priced at $38.13.
Color Magazine USA wrote that several of the region's best establishment will be taking part in Restaurant Week, including Scampo, Del Frisco's, Mistral and Abby Lane, among others. The meals being offered will feature dishes from around the world, such as French, Italian and Asian, to name a few, the source noted.
