Local chefs put their skills to the test at Big Sister Association fundraiser

Recently, many of these hospitality professionals showcased their cooking skills at a fundraiser benefiting the Big Sister Association of Greater Boston.

According to WBZ-TV, the event featured many local chefs, and they all gathered in the kitchen of the Radius Restaurant to create a six-course meal for attendees. The fundraiser happens each year, and all of the money garnered goes toward bringing in additional participants into the Big Sister Association of Greater Boston program.

The organization's website stated that this year marked the 14th year that the event has been held. The chefs that attended included Ting Yen from Oishii, Evan Deluty from Stella, Ming Tsai of Blue Ginger and Jeremy Sewall from Eastern Standard and other area establishments. The fundraiser was hosted by chef Michael Schlow, who owns the Radius Restaurant. In all, the chefs, along with their creative and delicious dishes, brought in $151,000 for the Big Sister Association of Greater Boston.
