Frank Monti, CPA Presented With Rhode Island Society of CPAs Mission Award

April 27, 2013

Not-for-Profit leader, Frank Monti honored for a lifetime of serving non-profit organizations

KLR (Kahn, Litwin, Renza & Co., Ltd.) one of New England’s largest CPA and business-consulting firms, proudly announces that Not-for-Profit leader Frank Monti has received the RISCPA Mission Award. The Mission Award was created to recognize a CPA leader who significantly contributes to the success of the profession and the community it serves through service, education, leadership and advocacy.

The Rhode Island Society of CPAs honored Frank with the prestigious Mission Award at its 2013 Annual Meeting in front of hundreds of his fellow CPAs and invited guests. “Frank is the only person that comes to mind when we hear not-for-profit, community and teaching”, said Michael Tousignant, Shareholder and Director of Assurance Services. He exemplifies the mission of helping not only his not-for-profit clients but also the community in general, adds Tousignant.

Frank works tirelessly with his clients one-on-one, and also leads the training efforts in many venues, from board training with our 220+ not-for-profit clients to mentoring KLR’s not-for-profit services group on the importance of supporting boards and being effective board members. He has dedicated his career to the not-for-profit industry and is an author, presenter and educator assisting organizations to maximize their effectiveness in our communities by being better organized, financially responsible and guiding them on achieving their missions

About the Award:
The Society’s Mission Award is based on overall contribution to the profession, the Society and in making a difference throughout the community served. The selection is made by RISCPA’s Nominating Committee and approved by the entire Society Board.
