KLR, one of New England’s largest CPA and business-consulting firms, proudly received the Worksite Wellness Award for the 5th year in a row. The Greater Chamber of Commerce and Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island awarded KLR with the Exemplary Award for the 2012 Annual Worksite Health Awards at this morning’s breakfast celebration held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick, RI.

“At KLR, we embrace employee wellness with year-round health activities and education, said Steve Loffredo, Human Resource Manager. “This award is wonderful recognition of our team’s commitment to good health and to participating in programs that will improve our health.”

The Worksite Health Awards are a joint program between Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island and the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce. In 1995, the program began as a way to recognize businesses that go the extra mile to improve the health and wellness of their employees. These awards have become a tradition for dozens of businesses who compete for them each year. Awards were presented in four categories: Exemplary, Superior, Outstanding and Achievement.
