KLR, is excited to announce the 2016 KLR University Curriculum to its colleagues. This in-house education program has been an institution at the Firm for over 10 years.
“Professional development is at the heart of our culture," said Alan Litwin, Managing Director. “It centers on providing the tools to grow, both personally and professionally. We believe our colleagues will be able to deliver the highest quality service if they have a clear path to growth.”
About KLR University:
KLR University is designed to build general business and technical skills across our service lines so that our team can provide improved service and form even better relationships with our clients. We currently offer 100+ courses ranging from regulatory to practice group development to leadership and business development. From our colleagues’ very first day at KLR, our award winning continuing professional education program offers sessions to enhance their interpersonal, leadership and technical skills.
In addition to KLR University, KLR also offers an internal career path initiative to include:
- Guide Program - New employees have a Guide, who’ll work closely during the early weeks and months of employment to get them comfortable with their new surroundings.
- Mentor Program - Once the employee has time to acclimate and get comfortable with their new surroundings, a Mentor steps in and helps them find the career path that will allow them to achieve their career goals.
- Industry Specific Training – We send our colleagues to industry training at various locations to help them bring back the knowledge needed to help our clients succeed.
- Leadership Training - KLR’s three-year emerging leaders program is aimed at developing the Firm’s talent for the future. Our emerging leaders program is designed in such a way to allow individuals to further develop their core management and interpersonal skills.
