KLR Women Business Exchange (WBE) hosted a session at the Hope Club, Providence, Rhode Island, on October 24th. Peri Ann Aptaker, WBE Chair and KLR Shareholder, kicked-off the session with an overview of the group’s goals and an introduction of Speaker Barbara Tannenbaum.

The session focused on Dynamic Communication and included an interactive agenda to an audience of over 75 business leaders. The session’s goal was to help strengthen communication style in order to speak with impact and be an effective influencer. Participants discussed tools that will help them become better business leaders through clarity, confidence and attention to their audience.

Dr. Tannenbaum is president of Dynamic Communication, LLC and on the faculty at Brown University. Barbara has extensive experience in developing and delivering persuasive messages. In addition to prior AICPA presentations and numerous keynotes in many industry conferences, her work in the business and legal community includes seminars and personal communication coaching in forums and companies including the Chief Judges Conference, AMLAW 100 firms, National Association of Women Counsel General Counsel Institute, Microsoft, Yahoo!, CNNMoney.com, CVS, Genentech, Textron, Sanofi-Aventis, Met Life, Merrill Lynch, and Morgan Stanley.
